CAN I RETURN MY ITEM FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE?

If for any reason you are not completely delighted with your purchase, we will happily accept a return for an exchange or full item refund. For hygiene reasons, some items are non-returnable. If this is applicable it will be stated on the product page.

HOW LONG AFTER PURCHASE CAN I MAKE A RETURN?

Returned items must be received within 14-days of receipt for USA orders and within 30 days of receipt for international orders.

 
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN:
  1. Please do your best to try on, handle and repackage the items with care. Any merchandise returned must be received back in its original condition - this means it must be unworn, undamaged, free of makeup, pet hairs, deodorant and perfume and have all original tags attached.
  2. Please fill-in and include the returns form (found on the reverse side of your invoice) along with your returned item to enable us to identify you and process your return as quickly as possible.
    If this is not present, a written note with all your details will suffice!
  3. We always recommend returning your items via a recorded service as we unfortunately can't be held responsible for any items that do not reach us.

HOW LONG DOES A REFUND TAKE?

We aim to process all returns within 5-10 working days of delivery to us, at which time we will issue a full refund or exchange and will follow up with a return confirmation e-mail. The refund will be processed back to your original method of payment. Please note we do not contact you when an item arrives back to us, but only once your refund / exchange has been issued 10-14 working days later.

CAN I GET MY SHIPPING FEES BACK?

We regret to inform you that any original shipping fees or return shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error was made on our part. In the rare event that you do receive an imperfect item, please do contact us at your earliest convenience. In such an event, we prefer to remedy on a case-to-case basis to ensure the best customer service and overall satisfaction.

I RETURNED AN ITEM AND IT WAS INCORRECTLY REFUNDED OR REPLACED.

We're really sorry if we've made a mistake with your exchange/refund. Please send us a message so we can fix this for you right away.

AM I STILL ABLE TO RETURN MY ITEM IF THERE IS MAKE-UP OR FAKE TAN AROUND THE NECKLINE?

Unfortunately we're only able to accept returns back in the immaculate condition they were received in.

I HAVE RECEIVED A FAULTY ITEM.

We are truly sorry if you have received a damaged item from us. We can only assume this occurred during the manufacturing process and has somehow slipped through the net. Please send us an image so we can look into this & organize for another one to be sent to you!

I HAVE RECEIVED AN INCORRECT ITEM IN MY ORDER.

We're really sorry if we've made a mistake with your order. Please send us a message so we can fix this for you right away.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN POSTAGE?

We're unable to cover return postage costs unless your item is faulty. Customers are urged to hold onto proof of postage as we're also not responsible for returns lost in the post. If you paid for shipping at the time of your original order, you will not be credited the cost of shipping when we receive your return.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED MY RETURN?

Please allow up to 14 working days for your parcel to be returned to Oh Polly. We will send you a confirmation email receipt once your return has been refunded. If you haven’t heard any communication from us after the 10 working day timescale, please contact our customer care team with your order number and details of the items returned.
If you've returned more than one order in the same parcel, please allow 72 hours for all your returns to be completed.

 

To exchange or return an item, please email us at hello@societyofchic.com and get a return authorization number (RMA). Once you receive your authorization number, please mail back the item to the address listed below. *Please note items used with a sale code or a sale item can be store credit only. 

You MUST place the RMA #  and Order # on the FRONT of the package in order for SOC to accept.  The ORDER # MUST BE ON THE FRONT ALSO, IF ONLY THE RMA # IS FOUND PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED.

If any information is missing on the FRONT of the package it will NOT be accepted by our facility. Please be sure to include all necessary information.

Custom items are store credit only

We do not offer return or exchange packaging costs under any circumstances. Items cannot be returned outside of the allowed 7 day return period. 

If an item is incorrect or damaged, please email us immediately at hello@societyofchic.com We are not responsible for damaged items if we are notified past 3 days of delivery. 

 

Exchanges

Please note that all exchanges must be received within 7 business days of receiving the order (in full). ALL items must have original tags attached (if any). Items with missing tags will not be accepted in exchange and will not be returned to you. 

Items purchased with a promotional code, marked down, or included in our sale/clearance sections are only eligible for return for store credit unless otherwise stated.

Exchanges will be subject to restocking fees*.

Society of Chic will issue this Store Credit to an active account on file. If this order was made as a guest- please create an account on our site: societyofchic.com 

Please understand we do our best to serve our clients fashion needs, but do allow a maximum of two (2) exchanges past the original order and do not cover shipping and restocking fee.

Shipping fees are applied to all exchanges:  US Standard  $10.00 – Standard International:  $19.99 – US Express Mail:  $28.00. Priority International - $40.00 International Express - $48.00

Please note that all Returns must be received within 7 days of receipt of item with ALL original tags attached(if any). Items with missing tags will not be accepted in exchange and will not be returned to you:

Example:  you received your item on April 15th, the item must be at the warehouse April 22nd or a credit is issued. We welcome exchanges. Please contact us if you feel you have a valid return reason and we can gladly accommodate you! Please be aware we charge a restocking fee (please see chart below)- unless fault is from Society of Chic. If returning an item, tracking information is preferred but not necessary from sender.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled after up to 1 hour

If we offer a refund to your item when will your card be refunded? 

Once we receive your package, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within 5-10 business days. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days (up to 30 days) to process and post this transaction to your account. 

Store Credit

We are excited to keep you Chic and accommodate certain scenarios with Store Credit. Store Credit can be applied to any/ all items on our website unless otherwise marked. Please be advised that Store Credits do expire from 1 calendar year from date of issue. Store credits will be issued for any items returned after 7 days at the lowest sale price minus applicable fees . 

A Restocking Fee will be assessed on ALL returns and exchanges: 

Accessories: $6

Tops/ Shirts: $6

Dresses: $8

Pants/ Skirts: $8

Shoes/ Footwear: $10

Coats/ Jackets/ Outerwear: $12

 

All orders have a cancellation period of 1 hour, after 1 hour we are not able to process. Thank you.
